Ford Center is a multipurpose arena situated in Evansville, the state of Indiana. The opening of the facility was in 2011, and it has a capacity of about 11,000 seats. The arena is dedicated primarily for basketball, ice hockey as well as concerts. The venue is home to a number of teams including the ice hockey team Evansville IceMen as well as the basketball team Evansville Purple Aces.

Ford Center was constructed to replace Roberts Municipal Stadium with a cost of about 7.5 million. In December 2009, the demolition started after the council of Evansville City approved. As part of a ten year contract deal that cost .2 million, the Tri-State Ford Dealers got the naming rights for the arena.

Ford Center hosted the first event in November 12, 2011, and it was a game between Fort Wayne Komets and Evansville Icemen in which the latter won 3-1. In addition to sports games, the venue hosts also entertainment events including concerts. And the first concert to be hosted there was a Silver Bullet Band in November 9, 2011, with the presence of their leading singer Bob Seger.

The first game to be played by the Evansville Purple Aces in the facility was in November 12, 2011 in which they won over the Butler Bulldogs. The Aces junior Colt Ryan played a game in the arena in January 18, 2012 and they won over Bradley Braves. The venue also was scene to several concerts of big names including Lady Antebellum, Reba Nell McEntire, Elton John and others. It also hosted different other performances including Cirque du Soleil as well as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra performance.
